Kimball Area Cubs ClubMISSION STATEMENT At Kimball Cubs Club, we believe in the value and uniqueness of each child we serve. Our child care experience is designed to promote each child’s own individual social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. As caregivers and educators, our mission is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment, which fosters a child’s natural desire to explore, discover, create, and become a lifelong learner. PHILOSOPHY Our program is a quality school age care enrichment program offered to meet the needs of Parents/Guardians in the Kimball Area School District. Cubs Club provides professional child care for children ages 3 (completely toilet trained) through 5th grade before school, after school as well as selected Non-School days following the District calendar. RATES Before School (6:30-8:00 am) $6 for AM session per child $8 for AM session per child - DROP-IN-RATE (less than a 24-hour notice) $3 flat rate for AM session per child - 30 minute care (7:30-8:00 am) After School (3:00-5:30 pm) $12 for PM session per child (includes an afternoon snack) $15 for PM session per child - DROP-IN RATE (less than a 24-hour notice) $5 flat rate for PM session per child - 45 minute care (3:00-3:45 pm) Non-School Days and Summer Days (6:30 am - 5:30 pm) $18 per child, per day (Part-time rate for 5 hours or less) $35 per child, per day (Full-time rate / includes an afternoon snack) $40 per child, per day - DROP-IN RATE (less than a 24-hour notice) $45 per child for field trip days in the summer Cubs Club Parent HandbookChild Care Program -
Kimball Area Play & Learn PreschoolKimball Area Play & Learn Preschool and Enrichment fee-based programs support parents in the education of the whole child byinstilling a love for learning and providing an environment filled with opportunities for social and emotional development. Our 4-Star Parent Aware Rated Preschool program also provides students with units of instruction rich in language, mathematics, music and movement, preparing students for a positive educational start. Kimball Play & Learn Preschool offers ALL DAY preschool, two or three days per week, for students who are 4 and 5 years old. We continue to offer HALF DAY preschool classes, two days per week, for students who are age 3 by September 1, 2026 and turning 4 that same year. Please register online in addition to filling out the required preschool paper forms. Enrichment Program - Wrap Around Care (3-5 Years of Age) Enrichment is available to provide preschoolers a caring learning environment during the hours they are not in preschool.
