VEX IQ RoboticsEnrichmentVEX IQ Robotics returns to Kimball for our 4th-6th grade students (boys and girls) during the 2026-27 school year. Students will work together after school on Mondays and Thursdays in the HS Robotics room to build their team robot with the help of adults and high school robotic team members.**Practice begins on Oct. 19 at the high school (drop-off and pick-up at door #10 on the south side). Vex IQ will practice on Monday and Thursday evenings. Starting in November, the team will use their robot at competitions around the area on select Saturdays. The season runs through March, 2027. The season may extend if teams qualify for State or World's competition. A team t-shirt and Vex IQ supplies are provided in the program fee.Fall 2026 -
NewBasketballRecreationKimball Area Youth Basketball is for boys and girls in grades 4-6 interested in competitive traveling basketball. Players will build individual skills and learn team concepts. Parent volunteer coaches are REQUIRED, along with support for their team, Community Ed, and Kimball Sports Boosters. Please note coaching interest during registration. IMPORTANT! NewWrestlingRecreationKimball Wrestling Boosters, in partnership with Kimball Area Community Education, wants to provide boys and girls in Preschool-6th grade an opportunity to learn and practice the sport of wrestling. Your child(ren) will have a blast! Cost: $40 for registration per wrestler (payable to Kimball Area Community Education), $50 singlet deposit per wrestler (made payable to Kimball Wrestling Boosters - deposit will be returned at the end of the season when the singlet is returned) and a $200 per family for fundraising deposit that will be returned at end of season when your family volunteers at 3 qualifying events: two meat raffle sign-ups and one tournament sign-up (made payable to Kimball Wrestling Boosters). The deposits for singlet and fundraising must be turned into the wrestling boosters. Registration and First Night of Practice will be held on Thursday, December 3, from 6:00-7:30 PM for ALL (PK-Grade 6) wrestlers. Kids will receive their singlet before going to the wrestling room for practice. The parent meeting will be held in the cafetorium.
